The sooner you submit your application to the posted jobs, the better chance you will have of being interviewed and hired. Most job opportunities begin to be posted at the beginning of January. Other jobs are posted later, some as late as March, though many of the best jobs are filled before March. Students remain through August 5th for work and events happening until then.

January through March: Employers post Job Descriptions and students apply.
February - March: Employers extend offers; students commit to participate in the program.
May 26-27, 2012: Students arrive, with opening event on Memorial Day (Monday).
Tuesday, May 29, 2012: Students begin their internships for 10 weeks.
Monday, June 12, 2012: Most Stanford students begin nine week internships.
Friday, August 3, 2012: Last day of employment for all students.
