DEADLINES
November-December
January - February
- Job descriptions should be posted to the website.
- The web site will begin accepting student applications. Employers will receive applications via e-mail and are encouraged to contact students within 48 hours of receiving an application. Automated web site features can be used to inform students of their status ("under review", "offer extended" or "declined").
- January: Employment offers may be extended at any time. To ensure securing the best candidates, employers are encouraged to extend offers quickly. Please submit your offer through the web site by using the "Commitment Letter" link on the Employer web site. Students are asked to respond to offers within 48 hours so that Employers can proceed with the hiring process.
March
- Employers are encouraged to conclude all interviews and extend employment offers. All of the schools will have spring breaks staggered from March 5th to April 2nd so it may be difficult to reach students during these days.
April
- April 3rd: Deadline for final employment offers to be extended.
May-June
- Employers send individuals who will be supervising the interns to one of two information sessions to finalize details for the summer.
- Employers contact students to share information about travel to work, dress code, work hours, employment expectations, etc.
- Students arrive in Denver and move into housing at the Inn at Auraria during the weekend of May 26th - 27th. Our opening event will be on Monday
28th, Memorial Day. The first day of work will be Tuesday, May 29th. Any exceptions to beginning work on this date must be approved by the CLIMB program.
August
- The closing event for the summer will be held during the program’s final
week in August. The last day of work for the interns will be Friday, August 3rd. Any exceptions to concluding work on this date must be approved by the CLIMB program.
